I'm really thinking about taking on a home automation project with my Arduinos. I'm thinking multiple slaves and one internet connected master. All the slaves would be 2.4 ghz connected via the ultra cheap modules. Anyone ever done this? I'm curious if I would actually be able to use the functions, which ones, and whether nor not I even need it
Input appreciated.
Cheers
Eric

Re: Home Automation with Arduino
Hi Eric,
Thought signed up to your site earlier, but getting to the point with you home automation project, I can highly recommend a guy here in AU name Jon Oxer[1] and he has his place all wired up with arduino's connected to a main server to controlling his lights and opening the front door for people that he know when he not home. I highly recommend you checking out his youtube[2] channel as there is a wealth of information there to be had.
Cheers for now
