Hey Guys- Thanks for all the awesome entries! Rather than clutter up this thread with my replies and comments I decided I would just make a video response. Love hearing from you all and good luck on the draw. Video coming soon I hope :)

I could have sworn I was one of the first ones to make a posting about the free give away? I think I posted it on your Youtube channel and not on this bulletin board.

I've bought a couple of the Dongles and one Ham It Up Board. I'm loving it. I love the whole SDR thing. I'm getting many members of my club to purchase those things.

Keep up the great work. I would like you to do a you tube video on getting the DSTAR thing to work. I really don't like the instructions that were posted.

Eric, please include me in your giveaway....

I recently acquired an RTLSDR and have used it for HF reception. I'd like to also use it for air, rail traffic etc. I have constructed a small omni antenna for the air traffic reception. And also made a fractal antenna for UHF reception. The antenna successfully received all 49 HDTV channels in the NY metro area (on an HDTV) works great. I also have interest and have been following the development for radio astronomy use. Though no ideal.... its possible up to 2GHz and some modifications. I also plan to use the SDR dongle for below the AM band for VLF reception, beacons etc. For this I need to acquire an upverter.... Next on my list.

I am making use of several pieces of s/w on a mac and pc to view my sigs.

Hello Eric! I followed your tips for the cables and ordered all from two Ebay sellers. I have the NooElec Ham-It-Up converter (with the 125 MHz crystal) and I love to win the case.
More than 30 years with this hobby and still looking for new technologies like the SDR!
Ex yv6eda and still keep my hk3fhe, currently studying for my Canadian call...
Thanks for your videos!

Good day Eric,

I love my new upconverter! Just using to pick up stations from around the globe,
and hope to get into more detailed signal hunting.

Count me in for a case! I would love to block out some RF interference.
I pulled the main power breaker in the house - that REALLY gave me an
idea of all thats 'buzzing' on the lines!

Thanks for the case offer!

Eric
First off Thank You for having the contest.
I wasn't going to get the ham it up converter however learning/playing with sdr is way to interesting not to. Making antennas is just as fun as tuning into the unknown.
Between downloading satellite images, decoding pager messages, tracking planes, listening to truckers, police, regular fm radio stations, and many things I have no idea what they are or how to tune into them. This will be something to tinker with for many years to come. I thank you again for all your help as your youtube video "USB Software Defined Radio- Cheap "Go Bag" Kit " and others helped me out getting started with sdr:)
