3D Printed Cast/Prosthetic

Post by Eric »

Some time ago I started 3D scanning body parts and trying to print a diy cast that could be used anywhere in the world even if there is no hospital. This is the result! It is a nearly perfect fit to my arm. The Kinect camera does a great job- in the video you can see it even caught the contours of the veins in my arm!

my CR10 printer settings for printing just about anything:

Let me know if you make one or have ideas on how to split the model before printing but still allow a good join.
Cheers!
