Anyone have any tips on how to create a good channel banner or thoughts on what should be used in mine? Some Google searches yield a few results but I'd really like some actual user input.

It seems a little silly, but I just used this for my banners http://www.bannerfans.com/banner_maker.php
It has a tendency to be pretty cookie-cutter, but if you cant afford to pay someone to make one in photo shop or something, and dont have the skills to make your own, thats your next best bet

I didn't know about that sire- Thanks! I ended up using Fiverr and just getting some made last year. Worked out pretty good.
