SainSmart 4WD Drive Aluminum Mobile Car Robot Platform

I am currently working on a project involving robotics and came across the robot platform that you are discussing in your videos.

I am trying to incorporate different sensors and a couple of motors to accomplish certain tasks.

The sensors I have looked at include the ultrasonic sensor, colour sensor, LCD screen, and many of the sensors that come in the SainSmart starter kit.

I was wondering which motors you used to power your car with the SainSmart, and some suggestions for mounting other sensors on the robot's frame?

Has anyone ever had problems using the SainSmart UNO instead of Arduino UNO?

I just used the stock motors that came with the kit. As for the sensor mounting- just get creative. Access to a 3D printer is really handy too

I bought this robot years ago to leaarn about arduino and robots.
I cant find the wiring schematics for this and in my search on internet for it i come over this page.
Am i underrstanding the drawing correctly when i say that yellow cable shall go from [in4] at L298N moduleboard to sensor shield v5.0?

I dont know about color but yes- the wires go from the sensor to the shield. The pins would depend on what code you use. You can use my code in the other forum thread or posted here: https://github.com/MKme/Arduino-4WD-Sainsmart-Robot

I come over a handwritten drawing when I googled sainsmart 4wd robot and assume that it was you who had made the drawing.
I am new to arduino and want to use this robot as a learning platform. But I think it is challenging to build it without schematics.
I am trying to understand your program and see if I can understand where to connect cables and hardware
