Re: Frugal 700 TVL Camera
Had one of these on my quad before I had it all tuned in (that was a mistake) and ended up crashing it with all the FPV gear a while back, and it jammed the lens right into the sensor, and wrecked it. But as long as you dont do what I did, they put out some pretty nice video. My only concern is the ...

Re: EPP FPV Monster Plane
Cant wait to see this one maiden either :D Weather is pretty nice here. Really need to get my quad built out and in the air. Wanting to get an APM 2.6 as a controller/autopilot system. The Cyclops looks pretty interesting. Is it just "plug and play" or will it take a bit of tuning to get i...

Re: FliteTest Versa Wing
Looks great! Cant wait for a maiden! Although next time, it might help to take a little more time laying down the tape ;) Id be interested in how this thing would handle having some retractable landing gear under it. I've seen these things hand launched, and it always scares me a little :P Quite a b...

Re: My 3D Printer Build
Wow! Thats an awesome printer. Looks much cleaner and more professional than my RepRap does. I've got some improvements I want to do to my printer, but I dont think it will get anywhere near the clean look of yours. Keep up the awesome work! And if you need any help figuring out settings etc, let me...

Re: My Laser Engraver and I
Awesome awesome awesome!!! I've wanted a laser for quite some time. I've got my printer, and love it, but to make larger cases and things for projects, you almost cant beat the clean cuts and quickness of a laser cutter on plastic materials. And of course engraving is pretty neat too. I've had my ey...

Re: YouTube Channel Banner?
It seems a little silly, but I just used this for my banners http://www.bannerfans.com/banner_maker.php
It has a tendency to be pretty cookie-cutter, but if you cant afford to pay someone to make one in photo shop or something, and dont have the skills to make your own, thats your next best bet

Re: Home-Made CNC Machine
Looking good! I've been wanting to make a couple of CNC machines, a larger 3x3-4x4 foot mill for woods and plastics, and a much smaller ~1x1 foot with much higher tolerances for milling PCBs. They can be made really cheap these days from wood and what not, the only issue I have with wood is moisture...

Re: 0.96" OLED Displays
I absolutely love these little displays. So cheap, but so much potential. I've got a few projects in mind, anything from a small cheap "smart watch" and even a google glass style display for real-time data monitoring. May integrate a personal sensor network, something like the GSG may get i...

Re: DIY Gas Sensor for Emergency Workers, Safety etc.
This project very much fits the "hacker spirit" in its most traditional sense. You have an idea, you have some parts not necessarily meant for the job around, and you spend a few hours messing with bits and pieces, toss together a crude program, and boom, you have a working project. Sure i...
